Terms

About these terms

These terms apply to the use of this online pharmacy website and to purchases made through it in New Zealand. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to follow these terms.

These terms explain how orders are handled, how medicines and other products are supplied, and what applies if an order is changed, cancelled or disputed. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website or place an order.

From order to contract

To place an order, select the products you want, provide the requested information, choose an available delivery option and submit the order. Before submitting it, you should check the product details, quantities, delivery information and total price.

Your order is an offer to buy the selected products. A purchase contract is formed when an order confirmation is sent, unless we tell you that the order has not been accepted. An order may be declined or cancelled where, for example:

  • a product is unavailable or incorrectly described;
  • the information provided is incomplete or cannot be verified;
  • prescription or other medicine supply requirements have not been met;
  • payment is not authorised; or
  • there is a suspected pricing, technical, fraud or security error.

Charges and payment

Product prices, delivery charges and any other applicable costs are shown at checkout. Prices may change, but a change will not affect an order that has already been accepted, except where the order is affected by an obvious error or another lawful reason.

Payment must be made using an available payment method shown at checkout. You authorise the payment provider to process the amount due. If payment fails or is reversed, we may hold, decline or cancel the order and may ask you to use another payment method.

Dispatch and arrival

We will arrange delivery to the address and by the delivery method selected at checkout. Estimated delivery information is provided at checkout and may be affected by stock availability, prescription checks, payment processing, courier delays, weather or events outside our reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for taking reasonable steps to receive the parcel. If delivery cannot be completed, including after a failed delivery attempt, the parcel may be returned, held or dealt with as advised by the delivery provider. Extra delivery charges or a cancellation may apply where permitted.

Requesting cancellation

You may ask to cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting us through Contact. Cancellation is not guaranteed once an order has been dispatched, prepared for dispatch or supplied in accordance with prescription requirements. Any cancellation right required by applicable law remains available within the period set by applicable law.

Problems after purchase

If you need to return a product, contact us through Contact and explain the reason. Products should be returned in the condition required by applicable law and any return instructions we provide. Some medicines and health products may not be eligible for return because of health or safety requirements, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

If a return is accepted or a refund is otherwise due, we will process it within the period set by applicable law or as stated at checkout. Where practicable, a refund will be made using the original payment method. If you have a complaint about a product, order or service, please provide the order details and a clear description through Contact so that we can review it.

Medicines and health advice

Information on this website is general information only. It does not replace advice from a doctor or pharmacist. You should follow the instructions of your doctor and the package leaflet, including directions about use, warnings, precautions and possible side effects.

Medicines that require a prescription will only be supplied where the applicable prescription requirements have been met. We may request prescription details, ask for additional information, or decline supply where a prescription is missing, invalid, incomplete or unsuitable. Seek urgent medical help for serious or unexpected symptoms.

Website material

Website text, product descriptions, designs, logos, images and other material are owned by or licensed to the relevant rights holder. They are protected by intellectual property rights and may be used only for personal, non-commercial purposes connected with using the website and considering a purchase.

You must not copy, adapt, republish, distribute, sell, reverse engineer or commercially exploit website material without written permission, except where applicable law allows it. Product information may be updated, and we do not promise that every page is complete or free from errors.

Responsibility and updates

We are responsible for providing the website and products with reasonable care and for meeting obligations that cannot be excluded under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, incorrect information supplied by a customer, misuse of a product, or interruption of the website or delivery services.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, guarantee, liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. We may update these terms from time to time. The version displayed when you place an order will apply to that order, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
